Emily Griffith, Founder & CEO of Lil Bucks (@lovelilbucks): Buckwheat Superfoods, Entrepreneurship & Traveling as a Digital Nomad

Season 1 Episode 10

Emily Griffith is the CEO and founder of  Lil Bucks and has been obsessed with sprouted buckwheat ever since she first tasted it several years ago in a “life-changing” acai bowl in Sidney, Australia.

While living in Australia, she discovered sprouted buckwheat and created Lil Bucks, a company to make and sell the crunchy, earthy-tasting seeds. She launched Lil Bucks in May 2018 at a fitness festival in Chicago. You can add them to granola, sprinkle them on salad, and dust them over yogurt! They are  a “superfood,” but the real benefit is their fiber (5 grams in a quarter-cup), protein (6 grams in a quarter-cup), their nice texture and alluring flavor.

In this episode, we cover the road to entrepreneurship, dealing with burnout, long distance romance, planning a wedding during a pandemic, and traveling as a digital nomad!
